What you have here is an observant young man taking note of what he sees in the media, and applying it to his own world. This is Sam Connors and his heavily modified radio-controlled Mopar vehicle, complete with homemade ground effects. What you can't see is the cellophane tape on the tires, which allowed Sam to say, "It can drift!"
And so it did.
